Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and finding a therapist you feel comfortable talking to matters. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as yourself, talk openly about what you’re experiencing, and feel genuinely heard and understood. I believe therapy should be collaborative, and I want my clients to leave each session knowing that their experiences, emotions, and perspectives were taken seriously.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and challenges related to racial and cultural identity. I also enjoy working with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from themselves, or simply trying to better understand the patterns and experiences that have shaped who they are.
My approach is primarily psychodynamic, while also incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy based on each client’s needs. This means we may explore past experiences, relationships, and recurring patterns to better understand what is happening in the present, while also developing practical strategies for managing current challenges and creating meaningful change.
Above all, I believe the therapeutic relationship matters. You are the expert on your own experiences, and my role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to listen, ask thoughtful questions, offer support and perspective, and work alongside you as you move toward the life you want for yourself.
